Andrea Keller - concertmistress

Andrea Keller received the crucial impulse which led her to dedicate herself to early music and period performance practice while studying at the Cologne University of Music.

Inspired by her teacher Franz Josef Maier, who compelled her to participate in the Collegium Aureum, and driven by attending several international seminars on early music, she shifted the focus of her musical activity to the baroque violin. As a violinist and concertmistress, Andrea Keller is sought after internationally: first as the long-standing concertmistress of Concerto Köln (which she co-founded), and now in prestigious ensembles such as l`arte del mondo, Das Neue Orchester, Capella Augustina, Die Deutschen Händelsolisten, Musica Antiqua, and La Chapelle Royale under Philippe Heffeweghe, as well as a visiting concertmistress at the Kammerorchester Basel, the Seville Baroque Orchestra, and Les agréements musicales.
