l’arte del mondo – Germany’s cultural ambassadors in Algeria.
At the invitation of the Goethe-Institut, the German Embassy in Algeria and the Algiers Music Festival with the participation of the Algerian Ministry of Culture, l’arte del mondo represented Germany as guest of honour at the “12ème Festival Culturel International de Musique Symphonique” at the “Opéra d’Alger ‘Boulahem Bessaih’”.

In historical performance practice, music is played standing up. Body awareness is the basis for playing the instrument. Your own body is the very first instrument. Werner Ehrhardt and Andrea Keller are fully in tune here, with full body tension and dexterity.

It was a fantastic concert evening at the opera in Algiers. Live broadcast with TV moderation. A real act of state! As guest of honour, l’arte del mondo gave an additional concert. It was fantastic to be able to take part in this festival and we would like to thank everyone involved for their warm hospitality. We experienced a wonderful encounter on many levels.
